How the Pass The Good Word Process works:

The Pass the Good Word process traces each book through an infinite and unique journey through geography and time as it is passed from one individual to another.  Each step along the way of a book’s  journey is recorded at this website by the “givers” and “receivers” of the book.  All information collected over time is then presented by this website via a travel journal to anyone wishing to follow along its journey.

Step 1:  All book’s journeys start with a Dedication and the Initial Release:

All books are initially dedicated and delivered to an individual or group from the Pass The Good Word Ministry.  Each released book is assigned a unique NickName which is recorded on the books’ inside covers.  The Book NickName is used to trace the book through its journey via this website. Currently, all books are sponsored solely by the Pass The Good Word Ministry; however, we look forward to providing a book Sponsorship feature in the near future.

Step 2:  Log a Book:

Books are received by individuals and then subsequently passed onto the next reader.  While there is no set time period for passing a book onto the next individual, we firmly believe that you will know in your heart when the time is right to pass the book, sending it on its path of purpose.  Each time a book is “passed” , we ask that it is logged in our website so that we can maintain the travel journal.  The “Log a Book” section is an opportunity for the giver to record the date and location in which they received the book , the date when they passed the book, and a testimony of the giver’s experience while participating in the book’s journey.

Step 3:  Follow a Book:

Once you have passed a book, you may be curious as to where the book you read and passed has traveled.

  • Do you wonder how many individuals may have shared in the journey along the way ? 
  • Would you like to read the testimonies and experiences of others that shared in the book’s journey ?  

The “Follow a Book” section is an opportunity to trace a specific book’s journey and view it’s travel journal.  This section allows for several ways to search for a particular book.  You may search for a book by entering any of the following:

  1. Book Title – based on the full or partial title entered, returns a list of books for a given title. From that list, you may select the specific instance of the book for which you are searching based on the Book NickName or Dedication.
  2. Book NickName – based on the full or partial name entered, returns a list of books with that portion of the name contained within the NickName. From that list, you may select the specific instance of the book for which you are searching.
  3. Book Dedication - based on any portion of the Dedication entered, returns a list of books with that wording embedded within the dedication.
